Tata Curvv & Curvv EV To Break Cover On August 7 – All Details Here
The much-awaited Tata Curvv and Tata Curvv EV SUVs will finally break cover on August 7. We expect both these models to very soon reach showrooms. When launched, we expect both these models to churn plenty of sales volume for the automaker. That being said, here are a few things you should know about the upcoming Tata Curvv and Curvv EV SUVs ahead of their launch in India.
Competition
The upcoming Tata Curvv will be positioned above the Tata Nexon SUV, and it will compete against C-segment SUVs such as Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq.

On the other hand, the Tata Curvv EV is the electric version of the Curvv SUV, and it will compete against the likes of MG ZS EV, the base variant of BYD Atto 3, and the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV.
Launch
The Tata Curvv and Curvv EV SUVs are expected to be launched just ahead of the upcoming festive season. Earlier, it was hinted that the electric version of the Curvv SUV would be launched initially, but with the latest teaser, we expect the ICE version to be launched alongside the EV model.

Powertrain
The Tata Curvv SUV is expected to be powered by a new 1.2-litre, turbocharged petrol engine with around 125bhp and 225Nm of peak torque. Gearbox options are likely to include a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission unit.
Whereas the Tata Curvv EV is said to feature the automaker's new Gen2 electric powertrain setup. This uprated powertrain is expected to have a claimed range of more than 450 kilometres on a full charge and the model is even expected to feature a 40+kWh battery pack.

Expected Features
Some of the noticeable features in the upcoming Tata Curvv and Curvv EV include a fully digital instrument cluster, a large touchscreen infotainment unit, a wireless charger, a large panoramic sunroof, a head-up display, and more.
Furthermore, these upcoming SUVs are most likely to feature ADAS tech that is similar to the one in the new Harrier and Safari SUVs. We also expect the model to come equipped with all-LED exterior lighting, ventilated seats, leatherette seats, rear AC vents, powered driver's seat, auto headlamps, auto wiper, and a few more.
