Tata Motors recently teased the upcoming Tata Curvv SUV. This latest teaser hints at the potential launch of the model in India, and the Curvv siblings could be launched just ahead of the upcoming festive season. That being said, here are a few things you should know about the upcoming Tata Curvv SUV ahead of its launch in India.

Competition

The upcoming Tata Curvv will be positioned above the Tata Nexon SUV, and it will compete against C-segment SUVs such as Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq.

Launch

The Tata Curvv SUV is expected to be launched just ahead of the upcoming festive season. Earlier, it was hinted that the electric version of the Curvv SUV would be launched initially, but with the latest teaser, we expect the ICE version to be launched alongside the EV model.

Powertrain

The upcoming Tata Curvv SUV is expected to be powered by a new 1.2-litre, turbocharged petrol engine with around 125bhp and 225Nm of peak torque. Gearbox options are likely to include a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed DCT unit.
