Tata Altroz Top Variants XZ Lux, XZS Lux Launched | XZ+ OS To Come With New Features

Tata Motors has launched the Altroz Racer and updated the Altroz line-up with two new top-spec trims: XZ LUX and XZ+S LUX. The company has also added more features to the top-spec Altroz XZ+ OS trim. The price for the XZ LUX starts at Rs 9 lakh, while the XZ+S LUX begins at Rs 9.65 lakh.

Price and Feature Updates

The Altroz XZ+ OS trim now costs Rs 9.99 lakh, which is Rs 34,000 more than the previous version. It includes Tata's in-car connectivity tech and an air purifier. The new 10.25-inch touchscreen comes with a 360-degree camera and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Variants and Configurations

The new variants are available in petrol-manual, petrol-DCT, CNG-MT, and diesel-MT configurations. The Altroz XZ+ OS is still only offered in petrol. Other features include an electric sunroof, cruise control, rear AC vents, auto climate control, 90-degree opening doors, auto headlamps, and rain-sensing wipers. Leatherette seats are now exclusive to the Altroz Racer.

Powertrain Options

The Altroz continues to be offered with an 88hp, 1.2-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 90hp, 1.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine. The petrol engine also has an optional CNG kit. The 110hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine available with the i-Turbo version has been discontinued. Transmission options include a 5-speed MT and an optional 7-speed dual-clutch automatic for the petrol engine.
