Tata Altroz Racer Launched In India: Prices Start At Rs. 9.49 Lakhs
The Tata Altroz Racer has been launched in India, entering the market at Rs. 9.49 Lakhs (ex-showroom) for the R1 variant. The top-end variant, the Altroz Racer R3, is priced at Rs. 10.99 Lakhs. This sporty hatchback will compete with the Hyundai i20 N-line.
Design & Features
The Altroz Racer has redesigned front and rear bumpers, a new grille, and orange paint with a black roof and dual white stripes. The black theme extends to the roof, wing mirrors, window line, and pillars. Additionally, a shark-fin antenna and 'Racer' badging enhance its sporty look.

Inside, the Altroz Racer features a black dashboard with coloured accents and contrast stitching on the seats and steering wheel. It also includes ambient lighting.
Notable features comprise a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, fully digital instrument cluster, connected car technology, ventilated seats, a heads-up display, and a voice-assisted sunroof.

Engine & Transmission
The Altroz Racer is powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, turbo petrol engine that produces 118.35bhp and 170 Nm of torque. It comes with a 6-speed manual transmission. Tata also plans to introduce a 'Dark Edition' called the "Dark Racer."
The Altroz Racer is available in three dual-tone colour options: Atomic Orange, Avenue White, and Pure Grey. Each variant features sporty racing stripes, with Atomic Orange being particularly eye-catching.

Buyers can choose from three variants: R1, R2, and R3. The R1 variant includes projector headlamps, LED DRLs, front fog lamps, and 16-inch alloy wheels.
It also features a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system by Harman, a 4-inch digital instrument cluster, and automatic temperature control.
The R1 variant starts at a price of Rs. 9.49 Lakhs, the R2 variant is priced at Rs. 10.49 Lakhs, and the top-of-the-line R3 variant is priced at Rs. 10.99 Lakhs. All prices are Ex-Showroom.

The R2 version includes upgrades such as a wireless charger, a sunroof that responds to voice commands, a digital instrument cluster with a 7-inch TFT display, a 360-degree surround view system, and a blind-spot monitor. The top-of-the-line R3 variant offers additional features like an air purifier, front seats with ventilation, and the iRA connected car platform.
