Suzuki Voted Best Manufacturer In The 2024 Car Dealer Power Survey
Suzuki has been named the Best Manufacturer in the 2024 Car Dealer Power Survey, topping a list of 25 brands. The brand achieved an impressive average satisfaction score of 90.8% across 13 categories, excelling in aftersales, brand awareness, accessibility, requirements, and return-on-investment. This marks a significant improvement from last year's fourth-place finish with a score of 82.8%, reflecting an overall increase of 8% for 2024.
In addition to this accolade, the Suzuki Swift was recognised as ‘Highly Commended’ for Car of the Year following its launch in April this year. This recognition highlights the model's strong market reception and performance.
The survey asked dealers to anonymously rank their manufacturer partners across various aspects of the franchise. These rankings were then compiled to form the overall score. James Baggott, editor in chief of Car Dealer Magazine, commented on Suzuki's achievement: "Suzuki should be extremely proud of this result. The brand rose three places on last year's placing – it's a hugely deserved win."
Baggott further added: "It's clear Suzuki's dealers are happy as they gave very high scores for aftersales, brand awareness, accessibility, requirements and return-on-investment." He concluded by noting that despite being a smaller outfit compared to some competitors in the survey, Suzuki is evidently performing exceptionally well in the eyes of its dealers.
Last year, Suzuki introduced an extended warranty program that has now registered over 26,000 customers. This program offers up to seven years of warranty coverage at no additional cost once the car reaches the end of its standard manufacturer warranty period. The warranty is renewed with each scheduled service within the Suzuki Dealer network until the vehicle reaches seven years or 100,000 miles.
This extended warranty initiative aims to reduce ownership costs and enhance customer satisfaction by providing long-term coverage without extra charges.
The comprehensive approach taken by Suzuki in ensuring dealer satisfaction and customer benefits has clearly paid off. Their efforts have not only improved their standing in industry surveys but also strengthened their reputation among both dealers and customers.
