Suzuki Celerio Special Edition Showcased At BIMS 2024: Funky & Colourful

Along with other custom models, like the Classic 69 Edition Swift, Suzuki has also showcased a dual-tone Celerio at the Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS) 2024.

The dual-toned Suzuki Celerio is based on the second generation of the model which is sold in Thailand. The Indian domestic market currently has the third generation of the Celerio on sale.

The second-generation Suzuki Celerio sold in Thailand is powered by the K10B naturally aspirated engine that produces 65bhp and 90Nm of torque. Consumers can either opt for a 5-speed manual transmission or an Automatic transmission.

The exterior of the customized Celerio gets a few upgrades. Retaining the stock body panels from the second generation Celerio, the bottom half of the car gets a beautiful blue colour. The side skirts, engine bonnet, ORVMs, pillars, and the low parts of the front and rear bumper are painted white.

The door handles are painted a light yellow colour. The Celerio also gets a huge roof rack. With the dual-tone colour theme and the added roof rack and yellow accents, the Celerio looks like the ideal taxi to see on the roads of Thailand.

The rear doors of the Celerio have stickers that say, “Suzuki Indy Make A Difference” and “Indy 2017” possibly indicating that the Suzuki Indy Dealership in Bangkok may created this customized model. The rest of the exterior remains the same as the stock model, from the headlight, taillights, indicators, grille, and hubcaps.

The exterior dual-tone colour theme continues onto the interior. The seats are done in dual-tone blue and white with black piping. There are also a few blue accents along the AC vents, gearbox, and centre console.

The rest of the interior and features of the dual-tone Celerio remain the same as the stock model. Features like a tilt-adjustment steering wheel, a seat recline and slide control feature, and a hybrid instrument cluster.

DriveSpark Thinks

The Suzuki Celerio showcased at the BIMS 2024 is the second-generation model and we think this model looks a lot better with its dual-tone treatment. Also, the dual-tone treatment clearly makes the model look more youthful.
