Subaru Of America Records 7% Sales Increase In May 2024

Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) reported a seven percent increase in vehicle sales for May 2024, totalling 58,356 units compared to 54,531 in May 2023. Year-to-date sales reached 267,215 units, marking a 7.3 percent rise from the same period last year.

The Outback emerged as the top seller with 16,506 units sold. The Forester followed closely with 15,345 units, reflecting a 45 percent increase over May 2023. The Crosstrek also performed well, selling 13,836 units, a 32.3 percent rise from the previous year.

Subaru's May 2024 Sales Up by 7%

The Solterra achieved its best month ever with 1,546 units sold, surpassing its previous record of 1,456 units set last month. This marks a significant milestone for the model.

Consistent Growth

Jeff Walters, President and Chief Operating Officer of SOA, highlighted the company's consistent growth. "Subaru’s retailers continued to drive our growth and dedication to customers with our twenty-second consecutive month of sales increases," he said.

Subaru moved up to number 15 in the 2024 Axios Harris Poll 100 Reputation Rankings. This ranking measures the public reputation of top companies in America, further solidifying Subaru's status as a trusted household name.
