Subaru Of America Celebrates Continued Sales Growth In July 2024

Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) reported 51,702 vehicle sales for July 2024, marking a 2.6% increase from July 2023's 50,389 units. Year-to-date sales reached 374,145, reflecting a 5.5% rise compared to the same period in 2023.

Crosstrek emerged as the top seller with 15,318 units sold in July, achieving its best-ever performance for the month. This represents a significant 36% increase over July 2023. The Solterra also had an impressive month with a 66% rise in sales compared to the previous year.

Subaru's July Sales Surge

Outback followed closely behind Crosstrek with 14,204 vehicles sold. Forester also performed well, selling 10,682 units as demand grows for the upcoming all-new 2025 model.

Jeff Walters, President and Chief Operating Officer of SOA, stated: "Thanks to the support and hard work of our dedicated Subaru retailers, July marked our twenty-fourth consecutive month of sales increases. Knowing that we offer customers some of the safest and longest-lasting vehicles on the road today reinforces our efforts to meet their needs and continue to build their trust in our brand."

Troy Poston, Senior Vice President of Sales at SOA, added: "Another month of strong Crosstrek and Outback sales represents positive momentum as Subaru remains positioned for growth. Likewise, Forester’s sustained recognition for outstanding safety continues to drive new and returning customers to the Subaru brand and our retailers."

Sales Breakdown by Model

The Ascent saw a slight decline with a -1.4% change in monthly sales but maintained solid year-to-date figures. The BRZ experienced a more significant drop at -12.9%, while Impreza and Legacy also faced declines at -7.9% and -17.1%, respectively.
