Subaru Reinforces Commitment To Camden Health With Third-Year Donation

Subaru of America, Inc. has reaffirmed its commitment to the Camden community by donating $30,000 to The Cooper Foundation. This marks the third consecutive year Subaru has supported Cooper University Health Care through its Subaru Loves to Care® initiative. The funds will be used for durable medical equipment and transportation services, aiding Camden residents in managing chronic health conditions and ensuring they can attend medical appointments.

The donation will provide essential medical equipment such as blood pressure monitors, glucometers, scales, wheelchairs, walkers, and canes. These tools help patients manage their health at home, reducing emergency visits and hospitalizations. Additionally, the funds will cover roundtrip transportation for hundreds of Camden residents who lack access to medical transport, ensuring timely arrival at Cooper facilities.

She noted that many residents face unexpected out-of-pocket costs for medical treatments and that this funding aims to alleviate some of these burdens.

Subaru's support for Cooper extends beyond this recent donation. Over the years, the automaker has donated vehicles to the Cooper EMS program and provided funding for various initiatives including the Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper and The Cooper Foundation’s Pink Roses Teal Magnolias event for women’s cancer.
