Subaru Reveals Pricing And Features For The 2025 Impreza Hatchback Models
Subaru of America, Inc. has unveiled the pricing for the 2025 Subaru Impreza hatchback. This sixth-generation model, redesigned last year, showcases enhanced styling and safety features. It also offers an optional 11.6-inch SUBARU STARLINK infotainment system. The RS trim returns with a 2.5-litre SUBARU BOXER engine producing 182 horsepower, exclusive 18-inch wheels, and distinctive interior and exterior accents.
The 2025 Subaru Impreza is available in Base, Sport, and RS trims, all as five-door hatchbacks to highlight versatility and sportiness. The Base and Sport trims come with a 2.0-litre direct-injection SUBARU BOXER engine delivering 152 hp and 145 lb-ft of torque. The RS trim upgrades to a 2.5-litre engine with 182 hp and 178 lb-ft of torque.

The Subaru Global Platform underpins the compact hatchback, offering a 10% increase in torsional rigidity compared to its predecessor. This improvement is achieved through full inner-frame construction and increased structural adhesive from 26.2 feet to 88.5 feet. These enhancements contribute to better dynamic performance, a smoother ride, and a quieter cabin experience.
Standard across all trims is the Lineartronic CVT (continuously variable automatic transmission). The Sport and RS models feature steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters with an eight-speed manual mode for shifting among preset ratios.
All models come equipped with the latest EyeSight Driver Assist Technology. Models with Blind-Spot Detection include Automatic Emergency Steering, which works alongside EyeSight to help avoid forward collisions at speeds below 50 mph by assisting with steering control within the lane.
The starting price for the Base model is $23,495 MSRP, featuring standard equipment like EyeSight Driver Assistance Technology, steering-responsive LED headlights, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
Infotainment and Interior Features
The standard infotainment setup includes dual 7-inch SUBARU STARLINK touchscreens for smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, AM/FM stereo, Rear Vision Camera, SiriusXM with Travel Link, and HD Radio. The lower screen manages climate control and vehicle settings.
The Sport trim starts at $25,495 MSRP and adds features like dark grey-finished 18-inch alloy wheels, SI-DRIVE performance management system, sport-tuned suspension, and an upgraded SUBARU STARLINK Multimedia Plus system with six speakers.
RS Trim Highlights
The RS trim level starts at $28,385 MSRP and includes features from the Sport trim plus additional elements like an All-Weather Package and Blind-Spot Detection with Lane Keep Assist. It also boasts unique interior accents such as gunmetal trim and simulated carbon fibre details.
The RS's exterior features include "RS" badging on the front doors and rear hatch; dark grey-finished alloy wheels; black finish on the front grille; side spoilers; side mirrors; upgraded LED headlights; leather-wrapped steering wheel; shifter; aluminum-alloy pedals; wireless phone charger; illuminated USB ports in the rear console.
Optional Packages
An option package for $1,900 MSRP adds Blind-Spot Detection with Rear-Cross Traffic Alert to the Sport model along with an All-Weather Package and Power Moonroof. For the RS model, a $2,070 MSRP package includes a Harman Kardon audio system with ten speakers.
