Subaru Unveils Pricing And Features For The 2025 Crosstrek Compact SUV
Subaru of America, Inc. has revealed the pricing for the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek compact SUV. This model, which underwent a redesign last year, features updated styling and improved handling. It includes enhanced safety features and introduces the rugged Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness to its lineup. The third-generation Crosstrek is popular due to its extensive standard and optional features across all trims, offering great value and versatility.
The 2025 Subaru Crosstrek is available in Base, Premium, Sport, Limited, and Wilderness trims. Prices start at $25,695 MSRP. Notably, the Premium trim now includes an upgraded 2.5-liter Subaru BOXER engine and dual-function X-MODE, previously exclusive to higher trims like Sport and Limited.
All 2025 Crosstrek models come with Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and X-MODE with Hill Descent Control. They offer at least 8.7 inches of ground clearance, surpassing many full-size SUVs. A Lineartronic CVT ensures smoother performance across all trims.
The latest EyeSight Driver Assist Technology is standard on every 2025 Crosstrek. Models with Blind-Spot Detection also include Automatic Emergency Steering to help prevent collisions at speeds below 50 mph by assisting with steering control within lanes.
The base model of the 2025 Crosstrek is powered by a 2.0-liter direct-injection SUBARU BOXER engine delivering 152 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque. Higher trims like Premium, Sport, Limited, and Wilderness feature a more powerful 2.5-liter engine producing 182 hp and 178 lb-ft of torque for enhanced performance.
The starting price for the Subaru Crosstrek Premium is $26,945 MSRP. This trim level upgrades to an 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus system with six speakers and wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility.
Trim Levels
The Sport trim starts at $29,495 MSRP and adds unique styling elements such as yellow accents on various panels and dark gray alloy wheels. Inside, it features yellow contrast stitching on gray cloth seats and other stylish accents.
The Limited trim builds on the Sport's features with additional amenities like Blind-Spot Detection with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert for $31,395 MSRP. It offers black or gray leather-appointed seats with orange stitching for added refinement.
Crosstrek Wilderness
The top-tier Wilderness trim starts at $32,495 MSRP. It combines a powerful engine with increased ground clearance of 9.3 inches for better off-road capability. The Wilderness also includes exclusive body cladding and a revised final drive ratio for improved climbing ability.
This trim level features a versatile roof rack system capable of supporting rooftop tents or additional gear up to a static load capacity of 700 pounds.
Manufacturing Details
The Subaru Crosstrek Base and Premium models are manufactured in Gunma, Japan while the Sport, Limited, and Wilderness trims are produced in Lafayette, Indiana at Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc.
All models will be available at Subaru retailers later this year. The destination charge is $1,420 but may vary in certain states like Alaska where it is $1,570.
