Subaru Of America Reports Slight Increase In September 2024 Vehicle Sales Results

Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) announced that it sold 56,414 vehicles in September 2024, marking a slight increase of 0.1% compared to the same month in 2023 when sales were 56,355. Year-to-date sales reached 493,612 units, reflecting a growth of 5.6% over the same period last year.

The Crosstrek model achieved its highest-ever September sales with 16,633 units sold, surpassing the previous record of 16,092 set in September 2022. This represents a significant increase of 24.7% compared to September 2023. The Outback followed as the second-best-selling model with 13,991 vehicles sold.

Subaru Reports September 2024 Sales Results

Jeff Walters, President and Chief Operating Officer of Subaru of America, Inc., stated: "Subaru’s retailers made a momentous push for a successful end of the summer sales season, and we are confident that they will continue to raise the bar. For those retailers impacted by recent storms in the Southeast, we are committed to supporting both them and our customers in their recovery efforts."

The demand for Forester remained strong with sales reaching 13,111 units as production ramps up to full capacity. The Ascent saw a notable increase in monthly sales by 26.3%, while BRZ sales rose by 7.8%. However, some models like Impreza and Legacy experienced declines in their monthly performance.
