Subaru Of America Achieves 1.5% Increase In October Vehicle Sales For 2024
Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) reported a 1.5% increase in vehicle sales for October 2024, with a total of 54,552 units sold compared to 53,772 in October 2023. Year-to-date sales reached 548,164 vehicles, marking a 5.2% rise over the same period last year. This growth highlights the company's ongoing success in the automotive market.
The Crosstrek model achieved its highest-ever October sales, with 15,928 units sold, reflecting a 15.7% increase from October 2023. The Outback followed as the second-best-selling model with 13,549 units sold, while Forester sales rose to 13,431 as production neared full capacity. These figures underscore Subaru's strong market presence.

Jeff Walters, President and COO of SOA, stated: "October was a notable month for our retailers, partners, and the entire Subaru family. We achieved twenty-seven consecutive months of sales increases, helped thousands of shelter pets find homes through Subaru Loves Pets® events, responded to hurricane recovery needs, and celebrated significant race wins with the Subaru Motorsports USA team. These collective efforts are what inspire us to be More Than a Car Company®, pushing our commitment forward as a team."
Other models showed varied performance in October. The Ascent saw a slight increase of 0.6%, while the BRZ experienced a significant rise of 25.4%. However, some models like the Impreza and Legacy faced declines of 6.1% and 23.5%, respectively. Despite these fluctuations, overall sales remained positive.

With a strong vehicle lineup and the ability to find the right match for any driver’s needs, we’re looking forward to seeing this success continue into the holiday season."

Subaru's dedication is encapsulated in its vision known as the Subaru Love Promise. This initiative aims to show love and respect while supporting communities across the nation.
The company operates through approximately 640 retailers across the United States from its headquarters in Camden, N.J., distributing vehicles along with parts and accessories nationwide.
This consistent growth reflects Subaru's strong market strategy and commitment to quality service and community engagement.
