Subaru Launches The 2025 BRZ Series Purple Special Edition With Unique Features
Subaru of America, Inc. has unveiled the 2025 BRZ Series.Purple, featuring a fresh colour and unique design elements. This special edition, limited to 500 units, will be showcased on October 19 at Subiefest Texas in Dallas. The Series.Purple stands out with its Galaxy Purple Pearl exterior, complemented by new satin silver 18-inch alloy wheels and black rear decklid badging.
The interior of the BRZ Series.Purple is adorned with black upholstery and exclusive grey stitching on various elements like the steering wheel and door panels. It also features performance-design front seats with Ultrasuede® surfaces and grey leather bolsters. The red starter button and aluminium shifter knob display the Subaru Tecnica International logo. Additionally, it includes an STI short throw shifter and Flexible V-Bar for enhanced performance.
Under the hood, the BRZ Series.Purple is powered by a 2.4-litre SUBARU BOXER® engine delivering 228 horsepower. It is paired with a six-speed close-ratio manual transmission. Priced at $35,445 MSRP, this model includes standard features such as EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology, TORSEN® limited-slip differential, Keyless Access with Push-Button Start, LED headlights with automatic height adjustment, Vehicle Stability Control with Track Mode and Sport Mode, dual-zone automatic climate control, Incline Start Assist, rear centre console storage box with dual USB-A input/charge ports and auxiliary input jack.
The BRZ Series.Purple also boasts Michelin® Pilot® Sport 4 summer tyres, heated exterior power mirrors, an upgraded audio system with a 2-channel amplifier and additional speakers. Safety features include Blind-Spot Detection with Lane Keep Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Steering Responsive Headlights, and STARLINK® Safety and Security.
The latest generation BRZ showcases bold styling that complements its handling capabilities. Its modern design features aerodynamic details that enhance its agility. The coupe's low grille is flanked by large air intakes and prominent fender arches that accommodate suspension points. At the rear, wide fenders flow into dual exhausts for a low stance while a narrow greenhouse leads to an upturned "ducktail" spoiler.
The BRZ Series.Purple will make its debut at Subiefest Texas on October 19 at Lone Star Park in Dallas. This event is the largest annual gathering of Subaru enthusiasts in Texas, attracting thousands each year. The complete 2025 BRZ lineup will be available at retailers nationwide early next year.
