Subaru Announces 2025 BRZ Pricing: Starts At $31,095 With Advanced Features
Subaru of America, Inc. has revealed the pricing for the 2025 Subaru BRZ rear-wheel drive sports car. The new model maintains its successful formula with a powerful 2.4-litre SUBARU BOXER engine, sleek two-door coupe design, and enhanced handling in the top-tier tS trim. The starting price is set at $31,095, and it will be available at retailers early next year.
The 2025 Subaru BRZ continues to feature a 2.4-litre naturally aspirated SUBARU BOXER engine producing 228 horsepower. This engine is paired with either a six-speed close-ratio manual transmission or a six-speed electronic direct-control automatic transmission, driving the rear wheels through a standard TORSEN limited-slip rear differential. The model is available in three trims: Premium, Limited, and tS.
New for this year’s BRZ is a dedicated "Sport" mode for manual transmission models, enhancing throttle response during spirited driving. The Limited trim now includes black Ultrasuede upholstery with red leather-appointed bolsters and deeper hue accents in the cabin. Subaru’s EyeSight Driver Assist Technology is standard across all trims, including models with manual transmissions.
The EyeSight system includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking System, Lane Departure and Sway Warning, and Lead Vehicle Start Alert. These features aim to enhance safety and provide peace of mind for drivers.
The base model, priced at $31,095, comes with several standard features such as 17-inch alloy wheels in high-luster grey finish, Keyless Access with Push-Button Start, LED headlights (both low- and high-beam), dual-zone automatic climate control, incline start assist, power fuel-door lock, power windows with auto up/down and pinch protection, welcome lighting, Vehicle Stability Control with Track Mode, and the newly standard Sport Mode.
The interior of the BRZ focuses on driver engagement without compromising passenger comfort. It features a clean layout where instruments are easily visible and accessible. A 7-inch digital instrument panel displays the tachometer prominently with vehicle information on each side.
Subaru BRZ Limited
The Limited trim starts at $33,745 and adds 18-inch alloy wheels in matte grey finish along with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 summer tyres. Other enhancements include heated exterior power mirrors, an upgraded audio system with a 2-channel amplifier and two additional speakers, blind-spot detection with lane keep assist and rear cross-traffic alert, steering responsive headlights, and STARLINK Safety and Security.
This trim also offers an optional performance-tuned six-speed electronic direct-control automatic transmission featuring adaptive cruise control, Reverse Automatic Braking, and steering wheel paddle-shift control switches. The price for this option is $34,595.
Subaru BRZ tS
The top-tier tS trim returns this year starting at $36,245. It includes STI-tuned front and rear Hitachi dampers for improved handling dynamics. The braking system features high-performance Brembo components for better stopping power. Externally distinguished by tS badging on the grille and rear decklid along with Crystal Black Silica finish on mirrors and antennae.
Inside the tS model are black upholstery with blue stitching exclusive to this trim level. It also includes performance-design front seats with height-adjustable head restraints featuring blue leather accents down the middle.
Interior Comforts
The cockpit design prioritises driver focus while maintaining passenger comfort. Instruments are laid out intuitively for easy access. The digital instrument panel mimics Subaru’s iconic BOXER engine design displaying essential vehicle information clearly.
The cabin comes wrapped in black upholstery accented by red stitching on various elements like seat bolsters and steering wheel. Performance-design front seats ensure comfort during spirited drives while maintaining support through adjustable head restraints.
Infotainment System
The SUBARU STARLINK 8-inch Multimedia Plus infotainment system is standard across all trims offering smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay® and Android™ Auto; Bluetooth® connectivity; rear vision camera; SiriusXM® services; ensuring occupants stay connected throughout their journey.
