Stellantis Windsor Assembly Plant Employees Donate $20,000 Worth Of Toys For Sparky's Toy Drive

Stellantis Windsor Assembly Plant employees, along with Unifor 444 members, delivered around $20,000 worth of new toys to the Windsor Firefighter’s annual "Sparky’s Toy Drive." The event took place at Windsor Fire and Rescue Services Station No. 5. The donation was led by the newly built 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona in Redeye Red and eight Chrysler Pacifica minivans.

The toy drive aims to support children in need within the Windsor-Essex area during the holiday season. Stellantis has been a consistent supporter of this initiative for 22 years. This year, about 1,200 families have registered, benefiting approximately 3,000 children. The campaign is organized by Windsor Fire and Rescue Services.

David Bellaire, Stellantis Windsor Assembly Plant Manager, expressed pride in their ongoing support for Sparky’s Toy Drive. He stated, "We are proud of our long-standing support for Sparky’s Toy Drive and the joy it brings to thousands of children and families who are less fortunate in Windsor-Essex County." He emphasized the plant's commitment to positively impacting the community.

Josh Easby, Sparky’s Toy Drive Coordinator from Windsor Fire and Rescue Services, extended gratitude towards Stellantis for their unwavering support. Easby remarked, "Without their tremendous and overwhelming support, achieving our goal would not be possible." He thanked them on behalf of Sparky's Toy Drive and the Windsor Firefighters' Benefit Fund.

This year's contributions also include toys from a shortened campaign last year due to plant downtime. Since 2002, Stellantis employees have donated over $300,000 worth of toys, filling more than 120 minivans. The public is encouraged to contribute by donating new toys or monetary gifts at local fire stations listed on the official website until December 25.

Stellantis North America is renowned for producing vehicles under brands like Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge//SRT, Ram, Alfa Romeo, and Fiat. They aim to achieve carbon net-zero status by 2038 through their Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan.

The company continues to focus on providing clean and affordable mobility solutions while creating value for stakeholders worldwide.
