Škoda Debuts Electric Elroq SUV: A Glimpse Into The Future Of Eco-Friendly Driving

Škoda Auto has unveiled the first official silhouette images of its all-new fully electric compact SUV, the Škoda Elroq. This model is the first to adopt Škoda’s new Modern Solid design language, which emphasises robustness, functionality, and authenticity. The world premiere of the Škoda Elroq is scheduled for autumn 2024.

The Škoda Elroq features a minimalist exterior that conveys a sense of safety and strength. The front is characterised by a split headlight design, with a slimmer upper section extending into the wings. Prominently displayed Škoda lettering on the bonnet reflects the brand’s corporate identity.

The vehicle also introduces the Tech-Deck Face, a modern reinterpretation of the traditional Škoda grille. This new design element features a flatter and wider appearance. Large wheels and advanced LED Matrix headlights further enhance the vehicle’s robust look.

The Elroq will be the third Škoda model based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB modular electric car platform, joining the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé. This platform allows for a generously sized interior and exceptional practicality, aligning with Škoda’s commitment to comfort and functionality.

The Elroq serves as the electric counterpart to the Karoq and will kick off Škoda’s new e-mobility campaign. This campaign aims to launch six battery-electric models in the coming years, marking a significant step in Škoda’s strategy.
