Skoda Kylaq Vs Rivals: Powertrain & Dimension Comparison
Skoda Auto India recently unveiled its first sub-4m SUV, the Kylaq. This new SUV is expected to hit the Indian roads very soon and will rival the likes of sub-4m SUVs such as Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger.
We already know, the sub-4m SUV segment is among the most competitive car segments in India. As such, here is a powertrain and dimension comparison between the new Skoda Kylaq SUV and its nearest rivals.

Powertrain
The new Skoda Kylaq will have just one engine option-a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine with 115hp and 178Nm of torque. However, it will have a choice of two transmission options-a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic unit.
That being said, with the expectation of Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Tata Nexon, all other nearest rivals of the new Skoda Kylaq SUV come with multiple engine and gearbox options. The Maruti Suzuki Brezza further stands out in this regard as the only SUV that does not sport a turbocharged powertrain.
