Skoda Kylaq Launched At Rs 7.89 Lakh - Bookings Start December 2
Czech carmaker Skoda has launched the all-new Kylaq compact SUV in India. The Skoda Kylaq is priced at Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom) and bookings for the SUV will start on December 2.
The Skoda Kylaq is powered by the Volkswagen Group's 1.0-litre turbocharged, three-cylinder petrol engine that kicks out 114bhp and 178Nm all of which is sent to the front wheels via a six-speed gearbox which is available in both manual and automatic guises.

The Skoda Kylaq measures 3,995mm long, 1,783mm wide and 1,575mm tall and has a 2,566mm long wheelbase. The Kylaq features a 446-litre boot that can be expanded to 1,265 litres by folding down the rear seats.
In terms of its looks, the Kylaq looks like a smaller version of the Kushaq SUV, which means it is quite a pleasant one to look at. The front end features a split lighting setup and the iconic butterfly grille. The rear features square taillights that are connected by a black strip with the Skoda nameplate on it.

Inside, the Skoda Kylaq features dual digital screens with the infotainment screen connected to a six-speaker Canton sound system and also features Skoda's connected car tech. The Kylaq features leatherette upholstery as well as ambient lighting. The Kylaq also features a single pane sunroof.
The Skoda Kylaq comes packed with a host of safety tech including six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, ESC, Hill Hold Control, Electronic Differential Locking System (EDS), Roll Over Protection and ISOFIX child seat mounting points, headrests, and three-point seatbelts for all occupants.

The Skoda Kylaq is offered in six colour options - Olive Green, Lava Blue, Tornado Red, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver and Candy White.
