Skoda Kushaq Sportline Trim Launched In India At Rs 14.70 Lakh
Skoda has introduced a new Sportline trim for the Kushaq, featuring a blacked-out aesthetic. This trim is priced between Rs 14.70 lakh and Rs 17.40 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and includes both exterior and interior cosmetic updates. The Sportline trim is positioned above the mid-spec Signature trim, costing Rs 51,000 more.
The Kushaq Sportline offers two engine options: a 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine producing 115hp and 178Nm of torque, and a 1.5-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine delivering 150hp and 250Nm of torque. The former comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox, while both engines have automatic gearbox options—the 1.0-litre with a 6-speed torque converter and the 1.5-litre with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
Skoda Kushaq Sportline: Pricing Details
Black-themed cosmetic upgrades are popular in the midsize SUV segment, and the Kushaq Sportline joins this trend with several enhancements. These include blacked-out grille surrounds, front and rear scuff plates, ORVMs, roof rails, window lines, and tailgate garnishes similar to those on the Monte Carlo variant.
Kushaq Sportline: Exterior and Interior Features
Unique to the Sportline are additional black door garnishes, new 17-inch black alloy wheels, and a 'Sportline' badge on the front fender. Inside, it features a dual-tone black and beige colour scheme, new fabric upholstery with dual stripes, and aluminium pedals.
In terms of equipment, the Kushaq Sportline comes with full-LED headlamps, auto wipers, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, single-pane sunroof, and six airbags. However, it lacks some features available on the top-spec Signature trim such as a full-digital driver's display and ventilated front seats.
Skoda has discontinued the manual transmission option for the 1.5-litre petrol engine across all trims including Signature, Prestige, and Monte Carlo variants. Currently, prices for Monte Carlo variants range from Rs 15.90 lakh to Rs 18.60 lakh (ex-showroom).
The introduction of the Sportline trim adds another layer of choice for customers looking for sporty aesthetics combined with Skoda's reliable performance options in their midsize SUV lineup.
