Skoda Kushaq Exceeds Mileage Figures In India, Eyes On New Update
Skoda Kushaq, a high-mileage and premium-feature car model, has recently garnered attention in India. A user claimed that the vehicle delivers better mileage than officially stated.
According to the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), the Skoda Kushaq offers a mileage range of 15.78 kmpl to 19.76 kmpl. However, a user with a 1.0-litre TSI motor and automatic transmission reported achieving 20.7 km per litre.

This claim has sparked interest among Indian consumers, raising expectations for the car's updated version. Reports suggest that a facelift for the Skoda Kushaq may be introduced by 2024. The model was initially launched in June 2021, and updates are typically released around the third year of a vehicle's market presence.
Potential updates for the Skoda Kushaq could include changes to the grille and bumper, along with new features such as a 360-degree parking camera, electronic parking brake, and multiple driving modes. Additionally, there is speculation about the inclusion of a panoramic sunroof, ADAS technology, and hybrid options. However, Skoda has not yet confirmed these details.
Currently, the Skoda Kushaq offers features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Mirror Link, an electric sunroof, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated seats, a wireless charger, six airbags, ABS with EBD, and disc brakes.
The car is available with two petrol engine options: a 1.0-litre three-cylinder TSI petrol engine and a 1.5-litre four-cylinder TSI petrol engine. Both engines are known for their performance and fuel efficiency.
DriveSpark Thinks
Despite its initial success among Indian premium car enthusiasts, the Skoda Kushaq has seen a slight dip in reception over the past month. To address this decline and boost sales numbers, an updated version of the Skoda Kushaq is anticipated soon.
