Skoda Auto has introduced the new Kodiaq RS, a high-performance variant of their three-row SUV. The vehicle features a turbocharged petrol engine that generates 400Nm of torque. Power is distributed to all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system.

Performance
The Kodiaq RS accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 231 km/h. Performance enhancements include adaptive dampers and various suspension settings such as Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport, Individual, and Snow modes. An Off-Road mode is also available for adventurous drives.
Exterior
Visually, the Kodiaq RS receives several upgrades with gloss black accents on the grille frame, ORVMs, window frames' upper part, roof rails, and D-pillar. A new front bumper complements these changes. The tailgate features Skoda lettering in glossy black for added style.
Interior & Tech
Inside the cabin, the Kodiaq RS sports an all-black theme with contrasting red stitching. Upholstery options include RS Suedia microfibre with leatherette seats or full leather seats in the RS Suite variant. A 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system pairs with a 10-inch digital instrument console for modern connectivity.
The Dynamic Sound Boost function enhances the exhaust note for an engaging auditory experience while driving. These visual and auditory upgrades contribute to the overall sporty appeal of the Kodiaq RS.
Market Prospects
The new-generation Skoda Kodiaq is anticipated to launch in India next year. Currently, the existing model is available at ₹39.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It remains uncertain if the Kodiaq RS will be offered in India, even in limited quantities.
