In addition to the petrol engine, SEAT introduces a new generation of eHybrid engines for the Leon, delivering an impressive 204PS (150kW) and 350Nm. This plug-in hybrid variant combines a 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack, offering over 100km of all-electric range. The eHybrid model supports fast charging, allowing drivers to recharge quickly at home or on the go.

The interior of the SEAT Leon has also been upgraded with two new Human-Machine Interface (HMI) options. Drivers can choose between a 10.4" and a 12.9" infotainment system, both featuring improved usability and connectivity. Additionally, the vehicle now includes a 15W wireless charging system for mobile devices, enhancing convenience for users.

Wayne Griffiths, CEO of SEAT, emphasized the importance of the Leon in the brand's strategy, highlighting its role in adopting new technologies and expanding the engine lineup. The SEAT Leon continues to be a key model for the brand, available in various powertrain options including TSI (petrol), eTSI (mild hybrid), TDI (diesel), and eHybrid (plug-in hybrid).

Designed and produced in Barcelona at SEAT's Martorell facilities, the updated SEAT Leon represents the brand's commitment to innovation, design, and sustainability. With these latest enhancements, SEAT aims to provide customers with a more dynamic, efficient, and technologically advanced driving experience.
