Roadkill Nights Powered By Dodge Set For Electrifying Return To M1 Concourse
Tickets are now available for the ninth edition of MotorTrend Presents Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge. The event will take place on August 10, 2024, at M1 Concourse in Pontiac, Michigan. Enthusiasts can reserve spots to watch legally sanctioned drag racing on Woodward Avenue and choose from various ticket packages at motortrend.com/roadkillnights.
This year's event promises more performance than ever. Four-time Dodge NHRA Funny Car champion Matt Hagan and European Dodge brand ambassador Ida Zetterström will showcase their 11,000-horsepower and 12,000-horsepower drag cars. They will race on the temporary Woodward Avenue drag strip on August 10.
Leah Pruett, Hagan's Tony Stewart Racing teammate and fan-favourite Dodge racer, will also attend. She will participate in an autograph session alongside Hagan and Zetterström. The main event will feature the Direct Connection Grudge Race for the fourth consecutive year.
Automotive builders with large online followings received Direct Connection HurriCrate engines to use in their drag car projects. Media personality Mike Musto and builder Suppy Wejpanich are among the competitors. They will install a HurriCrate engine in a widebody Dodge Hornet GT and race against six other competitors.
General admission tickets for Roadkill Nights start at $25. Pontiac residents with valid ID can purchase tickets at a discounted rate of $20 at the gate. Children aged 12 and under receive free admission, as do Stellantis employees presenting an ID badge along with one guest.
The HurriCrate-powered Hornet build will be featured in a new video series showcasing its versatility across different vehicle builds. Direct Connection is Dodge's performance parts brand, offering factory-backed parts through the Dodge Power Brokers dealer network.
