Renault India has revamped its popular trio - the Kwid, Kiger, and Triber - with a slew of enhancements and fresh variants. These updates are set to redefine the value proposition of these vehicles with the inclusion of modern features and vibrant colour palettes.
Moreover, Renault isn't just stopping there; they have an ambitious plan to roll out five new cars over the next three years. As an additional incentive, the brand has also kickstarted a used car program, likely to cater to a wider customer base.
2024 Renault Kwid
The 2024 Renault Kwid has earned the title of being the most budget-friendly hatchback with a touchscreen infotainment system at your fingertips. Notably, the Climber edition now showcases three new eye-catching dual-tone exterior body colours.
The RXL(O) variant comes with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and to cater to the growing penchant for automatic transmissions, Renault has also introduced the RXL(O) variant with an Easy-R AMT, making the Kwid the most affordable automatic car in the Indian market.
Since more people are now more concerened regarding safety features, the hatchback now comes with 14 standard safety features. The pricing for the 2024 Renault Kwid begins at a competitive Rs 4.69 lakh ex-showroom.
2024 Renault Triber
The Triber has been updated to include a new Stealth Black body colour, adding to its visual appeal. Renault has integrated comfort features such as a driver seat armrest, electrically foldable ORVMs, a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster, and a wireless charger.
The RXT variant boasts a rearview camera and a rear wiper, while the RXL variant is now fitted with rear AC with dedicated controls and vents for the second and third rows. Furthermore, LED cabin lights and a PM 2.5 air filter are new additions. The 2024 model is priced from Rs 5.99 lakh ex-showroom.
2024 Renault Kiger
The Kiger steps up its game with a more upmarket feel, thanks to its semi-leatherette seats and leatherette steering wheel. The 2024 model introduces a welcome-goodbye sequence paired with auto-fold ORVMs and a bezel-less auto-dim IRVM. The turbo engine variant now sports red brake calipers for an added touch of sportiness.
Other notable features include auto AC, power-fold ORVM starting from the RXT(O) variant, cruise control on the RXZ Energy variant, and LED cabin lamps across all variants. Safety hasn't been overlooked, with 15 features now standard, including seatbelt reminders.
The lineup also includes a new RXL variant with Energy Manual EASY-R AMT and the RXT(O) variant with Turbo Manual and X-Tronic CVT powertrains. The Kiger starts at Rs 6 lakh ex-showroom.
