Renault Scenic E-Tech Electric Secures Prestigious Erin Baker Award At Auto Trader Awards 2024

The Renault Scenic E-Tech 100% electric has secured the Erin Baker Award at the eighth annual Auto Trader New Car Awards. This striking crossover was recognised for its impressive range, generous standard equipment, and clever design, including its Solarbay opacifying glass roof.

The latest all-electric Renault model combines a range of up to 379 miles (WLTP) with advanced technology, high levels of space, and a renewed emphasis on sustainability. The Scenic E-Tech electric is available in three trim levels, starting at £37,495.

The Renault Scenic E-Tech electric has been praised by Auto Trader’s Editorial Director, Erin Baker. She highlighted the vehicle's extensive range on a single charge, which typically comes with a higher price tag. Baker also noted the car's appealing design and tech features such as Google integration, a parking camera, and a heated steering wheel.

Guillaume Sicard, Managing Director of Renault UK, expressed that the award epitomises what the Scenic E-Tech electric stands for. He described it as a brilliant all-rounder that makes pure-electric driving a highly viable and attractive proposition.

This accolade adds to the growing list of awards for the Scenic E-Tech electric. It previously won the ‘Car of the Year 2024’ title at the Geneva Motor Show, awarded by 59 car journalists from 22 countries.

The Renault Scenic E-Tech’s all-electric powertrain features a compact motor with options of 125kW/170hp or 160kW/220hp. It offers a 60kW or 87kWh battery pack for a range of up to 379 miles. The long wheelbase ensures an exceptionally spacious cabin.

Sustainability Focus

The vehicle's pioneering Solarbay opacifying glass roof and ingenious rear armrest create an inviting space for families. The use of new materials and absence of leather in the interior highlight its focus on sustainability. Up to 24% of its materials are recycled, and 90% of its mass is recyclable.

Trim Levels and Pricing

The 87kWh battery version is available in three trim levels: techno, esprit Alpine, and iconic. The Renault Scenic E-Tech electric can also be specified with a 60kWh (Comfort Range) battery, available exclusively in techno trim. Prices start from £37,495 OTR.
