The Renault Megane e-Tech has been sighted in India for the first time, stirring up excitement among car fans. The Megane e-Tech is a competition for cars like the Hyundai Kona Electric and is sold in many European markets.

Sources reveal that Renault has imported this specific unit for internal testing and usage. While initial speculations hinted at a potential India launch, the current status continues to remain uncertain.

The Megane e-Tech takes inspiration from the concept Megane eVision 2020, which explains its refined futuristic design. Notable features include cladding along the lower parts and inserts on the bumpers, which complement the colour scheme.

The exterior of the Renault Megane e-Tech sports swept-back LED headlamps with LED DRLs, a pair of slim LED taillights connected by a light bar, retractable handles on the door and aero-optimized wheels.

Stepping inside the Megane e-Tech, you will be greeted by Renault's OpenR display, which is an L-shaped display with a 12.3-inch instrument display with a 12-inch portrait touchscreen infotainment unit.

The Megane e-Tech offers versatility with two battery pack options: 40kWh and 60kWh. Putting out 130bhp and 250Nm of torque and 216bhp and 300Nm of torque respectively—the Megane e-Tech states a range of up to 470km, depending on the chosen battery.
