Renault Group Achieves Recognition As Most Improved Manufacturer At The 2024 Business Car Awards

Renault Group has been recognised as the 'Most Improved Manufacturer' at the 2024 Business Car Awards. This accolade highlights Renault's significant progress in fleet sales, driven by its ambitious 'Renaulution' strategy. The judges commended Renault's investment in the fleet sector, which has resulted in a 50% increase in market share, making their vehicle range more attractive to fleet buyers.

The introduction of new models like the All-New Dacia Spring and Renault Symbioz E-Tech full hybrid has enhanced Renault's appeal. These additions follow the success of the Renault Scenic E-Tech 100% electric, which was named "Car of the Year" in February. Additionally, the New Renault Master recently won the "Van of the Year" title.

Renault Group Wins Most Improved Manufacturer Award

Business Car Magazine Editor Martyn Collins noted that Renault's new head of fleet, Justin Costello, and substantial investments have signalled strong ambitions in the sector. Collins stated, "The arrival of a new head of fleet, Justin Costello, and the significant investment in people, programmes and processes, has signalled Renault Group’s ambitions in the sector this year – but it is the sales results that truly underpin its status as a rapidly improving fleet operator, with car market share up by more than 50%."

Justin Costello expressed pride in Renault's achievements over recent years. He highlighted that their brands now provide comprehensive solutions for business users. From affordable electric cars like the All-New Dacia Spring to high-performance vehicles like Alpine A290, Renault offers a diverse range for various needs.

Renault's model lineup includes popular choices such as the Renault Clio and Scenic E-Tech 100% electric. These models continue to be favoured by fleet customers. New offerings like the All-New Dacia Duster and plug-in hybrid Renault Rafale further expand their appeal. Costello emphasised that their team is dedicated to delivering an excellent fleet experience while laying foundations for future success.

The recent awards underscore Renault Group's commitment to innovation and excellence in vehicle manufacturing. The recognition at Business Car Awards follows accolades for two key models: Renault Scenic E-Tech 100% electric and New Renault Master.
