Porsche Sets New Record With Stellar US Sales In Second Quarter Of 2024

Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA) announced a record-breaking second quarter with 21,304 cars delivered in the U.S., marking a 13% increase year-over-year. This achievement follows supply constraints in the first quarter. Despite these challenges, year-to-date sales are only down 4% compared to the first half of 2023.

The diversity of Porsche's model lines contributed significantly to this growth. The iconic 911 model had one of its best quarters ever, with sales up by 52.5% in Q2. June was particularly notable as it marked the best month for the 911 in PCNA history.

The Cayenne and Macan models also saw substantial increases in Q2, leading the quarter's performance. The new Panamera, introduced to the U.S. market during this period, recorded 1,152 retail sales as supplies grew.

"This quarter truly saw us accelerate and for the year to date we are now closing the gap to be only just below where we were this time in 2023," said Timo Resch, President and CEO of PCNA. "We are grateful to receive such strong, sustained interest from customers across our range of model lines."

PCNA's success is supported by its network of 201 independently owned and operated Porsche Centers. These centers strive to deliver a first-class experience for customers, contributing significantly to the brand's strong performance.

Certified Pre-Owned Sales

Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) sales in the U.S. totaled 10,093 vehicles in Q2 2024, reflecting a 4.3% increase from the same period in 2023.
