Porsche Achieves Top Rank In Luxury Vehicle Quality, J.D. Power 2024 Study Reveals

Porsche has secured the top position in the luxury segment of the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Initial Quality Study (IQS). The study, released on Thursday, evaluates the quality of new vehicles within the first 90 days of ownership.

Timo Resch, President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America, expressed pride and gratitude for this achievement. Porsche Tops Luxury Car Quality in 2024

The IQS measures problems per one hundred vehicles (PP100). Porsche ranked first in its segment and seventh overall in the industry. This ranking reflects their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

The J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Initial Quality Study is now in its 38th year. It gathers data from nearly 100,000 buyers and lessees of new 2024 model-year vehicles. The study covers ten categories: infotainment; features, controls and displays; exterior; driving assistance; interior; powertrain; seats; driving experience; climate; and unspecified issues unique to repair.

Data for this study was collected between July 2023 and May 2024. The comprehensive approach ensures a detailed assessment of initial vehicle quality across various aspects.

Porsche Cars North America

Established in 1984, Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA) is based at One Porsche Drive, Atlanta, Georgia. Since 1998, it has been headquartered there and houses the first Porsche Experience Center in North America.
