Porsche Crowned Most Appealing Premium Brand In J.D. Power's 2024 APEAL Study
Porsche has been named the most appealing premium brand in the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study. This marks the eighth time in ten years that Porsche has secured the top spot in this annual study.
"The emotional connection to every car and every experience is so important, and we are grateful to our customers for once again rating us so highly," said Timo Resch, President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America, Inc. "This is the result of many years of work that remains very much in progress today as we strive for every Porsche experience to be exceptional – a significant target, and one we’re committed to achieving."

The 2024 APEAL Study evaluates owners' emotional attachment and excitement with their new vehicles across 37 attributes, including exterior design, driving feel, and powertrain performance. Porsche scored 891 points on a 1,000-point scale, surpassing the premium brand average of 870 points.
The Porsche Taycan was recognised as the best-in-class in the Upper Mid-Size Premium Segment for the second year running. Additionally, within Porsche's portfolio, the 911 model achieved the highest score with 903 points.
The study collected responses from purchasers and lessees of new 2024 model-year vehicles between July 2023 and May this year. Participants were surveyed after owning their vehicles for 90 days.
