Porsche Unleashes Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid With Record-Breaking Speed: Sets Benchmark In Luxury & Speed
The Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid has been unveiled as the top-tier model of the sporty four-door sedan. This version boasts a 599hp, 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 engine paired with a 190hp electric motor mounted on the gearbox. Together, they deliver a total power output of 782hp and torque of 1,000Nm.
Porsche claims that this high-performance Panamera can accelerate from 0 to 100kph in just 2.9 seconds. This makes it 0.3 seconds faster than the Turbo E-Hybrid and matches the speed of the Ferrari 296 GTB. The Turbo S E-Hybrid has also set a new record at the Nurburgring Nordschleife for luxury class cars, clocking in at 7 minutes and 24.17 seconds.

Performance and Features
The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid's battery pack is rated at 25.9kWh (gross) and offers a range of up to 88km on a single charge according to WLTP standards. Charging from zero to full using the standard 11kW AC charger takes two hours and 39 minutes. The car's top speed is claimed to be 325kph, which is an improvement of 25kph over its predecessor.
In terms of design, the Turbo S E-Hybrid features distinct front and rear bumpers compared to the Panamera GTS available in India for Rs 2.34 crore. It also includes chrome-plated exhaust tips finished in Dark Bronze, ceramic brakes with yellow callipers, a Bose sound system, and Turbonite highlights both outside and inside the cabin.

Record-Breaking Performance
Porsche test driver Lars Kern was behind the wheel when setting the new Nurburgring record in the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid. The car outpaced competitors like the Tesla Model S Plaid Track Pack by over a second and was nearly six seconds faster than its previous-generation counterpart.
Despite these impressive features, it's worth noting that hybrid models like the Turbo S E-Hybrid will not be available in India. Instead, the GTS will remain the most powerful Panamera variant sold in the country.

For those interested in other Porsche models, recent launches include the Porsche Macan EV RWD priced at Rs 1.23 crore and ongoing recalls for all Taycan units produced so far.
The latest Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid sets new benchmarks for performance and luxury in its class, combining cutting-edge technology with unparalleled speed and efficiency.
