Porsche Macan Electric Launches In Canada With Two Years Of Free Charging At Electrify Canada Stations
The Porsche Macan Electric has been introduced in Canada, offering customers two years of complimentary 30-minute charging sessions. This benefit is available through Electrify Canada's expanding network of ultra- and hyper-fast charging stations. The starting price for the Macan Electric is $94,900, which includes this charging advantage.
Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. (PCL) has partnered with Electrify Canada to provide these charging benefits. The offer applies to all-electric Macan models sold in Canada, allowing owners to charge their vehicles at public stations across the country for two years from the date of purchase. This initiative aims to enhance the driving experience on Canada's iconic roads.
The Electrify Canada network is growing, with over 40 new Hyper-Fast chargers being added nationwide. These stations are strategically placed along major highways and in key metropolitan areas such as British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. This expansion ensures convenient access to fast charging for electric vehicle owners.
The Macan Electric's battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in about 21 minutes at a 350kW station under optimal conditions. The vehicle's 800-volt architecture supports a DC charging capacity of up to 270 kW, making it efficient for long-distance travel.
The pricing for the Macan Electric starts at $94,900 for the base model. Other variants include the Macan 4 at $99,300, the Macan 4S at $106,900, and the Macan Turbo at $125,300. All prices include the complimentary charging benefit offered by Electrify Canada.
