Porsche Expands Electric Macan Range With New Models And Off-Road Package
Porsche has expanded its all-electric SUV lineup with the introduction of a new rear-wheel-drive Macan and the Macan 4S. The Macan 4S, featuring up to 380 kW (509 hp), is positioned at the higher end of the model range. Additionally, a new off-road design package is now available for all models.
The rear-wheel-drive Macan is the lightest in the new range, powered by a high-voltage battery with a gross energy content of 100 kWh. It uses a rear-axle motor similar to that in the Macan 4, delivering 250 kW (335 hp). With Launch Control, it can produce up to 265 kW (355 hp) and reach 60 mph in 5.4 seconds, with a top speed of 136 mph.

The Macan 4S features a new rear-axle motor and a powerful 600-amp SiC pulse inverter. Combined with the front-axle motor from the Macan Turbo, it offers a system output of 330 kW (442 hp) and up to 380 kW (509 hp) with overboost. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of 149 mph.
Both new models benefit from Porsche's second-generation Macan design, which includes optimized aerodynamics and an efficient powertrain. The Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture supports DC charging up to 270 kW, allowing the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in around 21 minutes under ideal conditions.
A new exterior color, Slate Grey Neo, is now available for all electric Macans. A new off-road design package enhances everyday usability by increasing ground clearance and approach angles. This package includes unique front bumpers, side skirts, diffuser panels, and roof railings painted in either Vesuvius Grey or the car's exterior color.
The off-road design package also offers matching wheels and roof railings in various finishes. For those who prefer not to opt for the full package, an off-road front bumper with an inlay in Vesuvius Grey is available separately for all models.
Porsche Driver Experience
The electrification of the Macan introduces a new display and control system called Porsche Driver Experience. This system combines digital and analog elements, including a curved instrument cluster display, passenger display, head-up display with augmented reality technology, and ambient lighting with interior communication light.
Deliveries for these new models are expected to begin in Q4 in the U.S., with prices starting at $75,300 for the Macan and $84,900 for the Macan 4S. These prices exclude tax, title, registration fees, dealer charges, and a $1,995 delivery fee.
