First Polestar 3 Electric SUVs Delivered To Customers Worldwide
Polestar (NASDAQ: PSNY) has commenced its first customer deliveries of the Polestar 3. This electric SUV is crucial for the company's growth, marking the presence of three models on the roads, including two SUVs. Initial deliveries are happening across two continents and will increase throughout the summer.
Customer interest in Polestar 3 remains high, with global automotive media praising it. The initial batch of test drives was over-subscribed, prompting Polestar to offer more slots during the summer at their Spaces. Kristian Elvefors, Global Head of Commercial at Polestar, said, "We always knew the Polestar 3 was going to be popular, but even we were blown away by the global media’s reviews and the response to opening up test drive bookings. It’s testament to the excitement in the market for this car and customer interest to get behind the wheel of our flagship electric SUV."
The first handovers took place at Polestar's headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden. Customers received their launch edition Polestar 3s in a special ceremony at the brand’s Cube. These vehicles were finished in Magnesium and Space colours, accompanied by a special gift package from Polestar.
Deliveries are set to continue globally with ceremonies planned in various locations. Tomorrow, more customers in Germany and Norway will receive their cars. In the USA, where additional manufacturing will start this summer, deliveries have begun in California, Illinois, Indiana, and New York.
The launch edition cars come in Long range Dual motor and Long range Dual motor with Performance Pack models. They are available in Snow, Thunder, and Magnesium finishes.

Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar said: "This is an important milestone - first deliveries of Polestar 3 to our customers. Test drives start at all Polestar Spaces this coming weekend in Europe. Thousands of hand-raisers are invited to experience our great, luxurious performance SUV. Polestar is becoming a global player with the most attractive electric product range."
Customers worldwide will soon experience similar handover events locally. The North American team is actively delivering cars across several states.
