Polestar has unveiled a new addition to its Polestar 3 line-up, the Long range Single motor variant, priced at £69,900. This model offers up to 403 miles (WLTP) on a single charge while maintaining the luxury features and advanced technology of the Polestar 3 series. Orders for this new model are now open.

The Long range Single motor Polestar 3 is powered by a 111 kWh battery pack, identical to that used in the Dual Motor version. It supports a peak charging capacity of 250 kW, allowing for a 10-80% charge in just 30 minutes using DC fast charging. This efficiency makes it an attractive option for those seeking longer driving ranges.

This new model retains the performance characteristics of its Dual Motor counterparts. It features a sophisticated passive damper system with Hydraulic Rebound Stops (HRS) and Frequency Selective Damping (FSD), ensuring ride comfort and control. The rear-wheel drive setup delivers 220 kW and 490 Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0-62 mph in 7.8 seconds.

The MY25 line-up introduces greater customisation options for the Long range Single motor Polestar 3. Customers can personalise their vehicle with six exterior colours, five interior designs, and four wheel choices, including a new 21-inch alloy wheel available through the Pro Pack.

Additionally, buyers can opt for the Pilot Pack with LiDAR from Luminar, enhancing safety and convenience features. This pack is available across all MY25 models, including the Long range Single motor variant.

Manufacturing and Availability

The Long range Single motor Polestar 3 will be produced in both China and the USA. This ensures that production meets global demand while maintaining high standards of quality and performance associated with the Polestar brand.

The braking system remains consistent across all Polestar 3 models, featuring Brembo brakes to ensure reliable stopping power. This consistency underscores Polestar's commitment to safety and performance across its entire SUV range.
