Oracle Red Bull Racing To Celebrate 20 Years At Festival Of Speed With Max Verstappen

Oracle Red Bull Racing's current Formula 1 drivers, Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez, will appear at the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard. They will be joined by Team Principal and CEO Christian Horner, as well as former drivers David Coulthard, Christian Klien, Daniel Ricciardo, and Mark Webber.

Goodwood is excited to announce that the 2024 Festival of Speed will feature an impressive lineup of drivers from Oracle Red Bull Racing's history. The event marks the team's 20th anniversary celebration. Max Verstappen, a three-time Formula 1 World Champion, will make his debut at the Festival of Speed by driving the RB16B, the car in which he won his first world title in 2021.

The celebrations will peak on Sunday with a spectacular hillclimb run and a balcony moment. This follows the unveiling of the new RB17 Hypercar on Friday. Seven notable drivers and cars from Red Bull's successful two decades in Formula 1 will take to the Goodwood Hill.

The Duke of Richmond, CBE DL, founder of the Festival of Speed, expressed his excitement: "In its 31-year history, this is the first time that the Festival of Speed has celebrated a Formula 1 team on this scale. To have both the current drivers – not to mention the reigning World Champion – the CEO and Team Principal, as well as so many team icons is fantastic."

This year's festival promises to be Goodwood's largest celebration of a Formula 1 team. Fans will have a unique opportunity to see these seven drivers who collectively hold an impressive 96 Formula 1 race wins.

The festival runs from Thursday 11 July to Sunday 14 July 2024. Tickets for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are sold out. However, Thursday tickets are still available for purchase through Goodwood’s website or by calling their Ticket Office.
