Oliver Bearman Excites With Ferrari Performance At Goodwood Festival 2024
Ferrari showcased an impressive array of vehicles at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which concluded on 14 July 2024. A total of 26 unique Ferrari models took on the famous Goodwood Hill, leaving a lasting impression on attendees. The event also marked the UK dynamic debut of six remarkable Ferrari models, each representing the pinnacle of Italian design and performance.
The festival featured the UK dynamic debut of six Ferrari models. Among them was the Ferrari 296 Challenge, driven by Andrew Morrow, reigning Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli UK Champion. Morrow completed the 1.16-mile hillclimb in just 50.03 seconds, finishing 7th overall in the final timed run shoot-out.
Another highlight was Oliver Bearman, Scuderia Ferrari HP Reserve Driver, who drove the SF71H, originally piloted by Sebastian Vettel in the 2018 FIA Formula One World Championship. Bearman expressed his excitement: "It was really a special weekend. Thanks to Goodwood and to the Ferrari family for having me and for giving me the unique opportunity to drive a SF71H up the hill."
The presence of iconic Ferrari F1 cars like the F2001 and F2007, historically driven by Michael Schumacher and Kimi Räikkönen respectively, added to the excitement. Additionally, passionate Ferrari collectors displayed an impressive array of classic racing models, further enhancing Ferrari's legacy at Goodwood.
The six models making their dynamic UK debuts included:

- Ferrari SF90 XX Spider: Boasting an impressive 1,030 cv and radical aerodynamics, this open-top model features a fixed rear spoiler – a first since the F50.
- Ferrari 812 Competizione A: Based on the Ferrari 812 Superfast, this limited-edition model thrilled crowds with its naturally aspirated V12 engine.
- Ferrari SP-8: Developed under Ferrari’s One-Off programme, this unique no-roof design underscored its sporty character as a thoroughbred two-seater roadster.
- Ferrari 499P Modificata: Derived from the Le Mans-winning Ferrari 499P Hypercar, this track-only model highlighted Ferrari's commitment to performance and innovation.
- Ferrari 296 Challenge: Based on the 296 GTB, this new-generation racer delivered exceptional responsiveness and handling.
