Nissan has announced that bookings for the new X-Trail SUV will start on July 26. Furthermore, the token amount is set at Rs 1 lakh. That being said, prices for the new Nissan X-Trail SUV will be revealed on August 1, and deliveries are said to commence shortly after.
Nissan X-Trail: Powertrain
The India-spec X-Trail is equipped with a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, which includes a 12V mild-hybrid system. This powertrain generates 163hp and 300Nm of torque. It comes paired with a shift-by-wire CVT automatic gearbox designed to minimise the rubberband effect.

Considering its CBU import status, the X-Trail's price is anticipated to fall between Rs 40 lakh-45 lakh. This positions it directly against competitors like the Skoda Kodiaq (Rs 39.99 lakh) and the Jeep Meridian (Rs 29.49 lakh-39.83 lakh).
