Nissan X-Trail Launch In India: Second Teaser Out
Nissan Motor India is set to launch the X-Trail premium SUV in the country soon, with media drives scheduled between July 17 and 21. The vehicle will compete with the Skoda Kodiaq, Jeep Meridian, VW Tiguan, and others. However, due to its CBU import route, the X-Trail may be priced higher than its rivals.
The latest video reveals features such as alloy wheels, a large V-motion front grille section, sleek LED headlamps, LED Daytime Running Lights, and wraparound lamps with LED signatures. Moreover, the fourth-generation Nissan X-Trail was first showcased in India in late 2022 and has been spotted testing multiple times since then.

It is expected to be powered by a 1.5L turbo petrol engine and built on the CMF-C architecture shared with the Mitsubishi Outlander. Although available globally with multiple powertrain options, including a self-charging hybrid system, it is unlikely that these will be offered in India.
Interior Features and Specifications
The X-Trail's interior is anticipated to include high-end technologies such as a 12.3-inch digital instrument console and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Other likely features include a 10.8-inch heads-up display, Nissan's ProPILOT suite with ADAS technology, Bose sound system, leather seat upholstery, automatic climate control, and premium surface trims and finishes.
The turbo petrol engine for the Indian market is expected to produce 204 hp and 305 Nm of torque. While the global version offers a 2.4L four-cylinder NA petrol engine with regular FWD and hybrid AWD options, it remains uncertain whether these will be available in India.
