Nissan Magnite Freedom Offer: Big Savings For Defence & Police

Nissan Magnite is offering a special 'Freedom Offer' for Defence, Central Paramilitary, and State Police Forces, allowing savings of up to Rs 1.53 lakh through August 2024. The 5-seater SUV starts at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available at discounted rates exclusively for these personnel.

For Defence personnel, the Nissan Magnite can be purchased via the CSD AFD portal with significant savings. The base model XE, usually priced at Rs 5,99,900 (ex-showroom), is available for Rs 4,99,000 resulting in a saving of Rs 1,00,900.

Nissan Magnite 'Freedom Offer’

The Freedom Offer replicates the introductory pricing from the December 2020 launch for Defence, Central Paramilitary, and State Police Forces. Nissan has also set up an exclusive helpdesk to facilitate bookings and deliveries across India efficiently.

The Magnite XL variant sees a discount of Rs 1,64,010 on its ex-showroom price of Rs 7,04,000, bringing it down to Rs 5,39,990 via the CSD portal. The top-spec Magnite XV is offered at a discounted price of Rs 6,29,000 from its original price of Rs 7,82,000.

Offer for Central Paramilitary and State Police Forces

Central Paramilitary and State Police Forces can avail special rates via the Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar. The base Magnite XE is priced at Rs 5,65,000 ex-showroom with a discount of Rs 34,900. The Magnite XL is available at Rs 6,04,000 compared to its ex-showroom price of Rs 7,04,000.

The top two variants—Magnite XE AMT and Magnite GEZA CVT—are offered at Rs 5,94,900 and Rs 9,09,000 respectively. These prices reflect discounts of Rs 65,000 and Rs 75,000 respectively under this scheme.

Powertrain Options

The Nissan Magnite comes with two petrol engine options: a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine producing 72 hp paired with either a 5-speed MT or AMT; and a turbocharged version generating 100 hp available with both CVT and manual transmissions. Fuel efficiency ranges from 17.7 km/l to 20 km/l depending on the variant.

Nissan Magnite has achieved over three consecutive years of sales exceeding 30,000 units annually. In June this year, it celebrated rolling out its 1 lakh unit from the Chennai plant while domestic sales hit the same milestone in January with exports surpassing the 30k mark by April.
