Nissan Magnite Displays Stellar Sales Performance: More Than 3,000 Units Sold In April
The Nissan Magnite SUV has become a pivotal player in the Indian automotive market, with sales figures speaking volumes about its success. In the financial year ending March 2024, the Magnite alone propelled Nissan's presence in India, achieving over 30,000 unit sales.
This marks the third consecutive year Nissan has hit this significant sales milestone. Notably, in April 2024, Nissan reported sales of 3,043 units of the Magnite, sustaining its momentum in the competitive sub-compact SUV segment.

With the Magnite being the sole model offered by Nissan in India, its performance is crucial for the brand. The SUV, which comes with a price range starting from Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 9.65 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-end Kuro Edition, has been a key driver of Nissan's sales since its debut in 2020.
Over 1,00,000 units have found owners in India, and more than 30,000 units have been exported to 15 countries, highlighting its global appeal. Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director at Nissan Motor India, praised the collective effort behind these achievements. He emphasized the brand's commitment to growing its customer base and enhancing its share in the B SUV segment.

The Magnite's appeal is boosted by its engine offerings - two 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engines, with the turbocharged version generating up to 98bhp and 160Nm of torque with a CVT automatic transmission. Fuel efficiency ranges from 17.40km/l to 20km/l across different variants, making it an attractive choice for economical driving.
Looking forward, Nissan is not resting on its laurels. The company recently unveiled three models - the X-Trail, Qashqai, and Juke - under consideration for the Indian market.
