Nissan Magnite Facelift SUV: Top 5 Things To Know

Nissan India has introduced the updated Magnite, with prices starting at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This facelift brings design enhancements and new features but retains the existing mechanical setup. The introductory prices apply to the first 10,000 units, with deliveries starting tomorrow. The Magnite remains a budget-friendly compact SUV in India.

Exterior

The facelifted Magnite showcases significant exterior updates, particularly at the front. It now features a larger grille adorned with chrome and gloss-black elements that seamlessly blend into the headlamps. The bumper sports a pronounced faux skid plate with integrated fog lamps, while the headlamps have a new LED DRL signature.

This mid-life update also introduces new alloy wheels measuring 16 inches in diameter while retaining L-shaped LED DRLs on the bumper from its predecessor model. The tail lamps receive fresh LED signatures featuring intricate detailing at their rear end alongside introducing Sunrise Cooper colour shade option externally available now too!

Interior & Features

Inside, the cabin has transitioned from an all-black theme to a dual-tone copper and black design for the dashboard, door pads, and seats. The steering wheel now comes in full black, replacing the previous black and silver finish. New textured panels on door pads and ambient lighting enhance the interior's appeal.

The Magnite facelift retains several features from its predecessor. These include an 8-inch touchscreen, rear AC vents, auto climate control, a 360-degree camera, and a wireless charger. Additionally, it boasts an updated 7-inch digital instrument cluster with revised graphics and new auto headlamps.

The safety features have been enhanced with six airbags as standard along with ESC and seatbelt reminders for all seats. Despite these improvements in safety equipment, it still lacks an electric sunroof compared to some rivals.

Engine Options

The powertrain options remain unchanged with two petrol engines: a 72hp 1.0-litre NA engine and a 100hp turbocharged version. Both engines come with a standard 5-speed manual gearbox. The naturally aspirated engine offers an optional AMT, while the turbo variant provides a CVT option.

Nissan claims fuel efficiency figures of 20kpl for manual variants and 17.4kpl for CVT turbo models. Despite these updates, the Magnite still does not feature an electric sunroof like some competitors.
