Nissan Magnite Facelift Teaser Out: Enhanced Features & Updated Design Expected
Nissan India is gearing up to introduce a refreshed version of its Magnite model, with the official reveal slated for October 4. Furthermore, the upcoming Nissan Magnite facelift model has been recently teased ahead of its launch in India.
Among the anticipated changes, the vehicle is expected to feature subtly revised bumpers, along with possible modifications to its headlights and tail lamps, to bring a new spark to its exterior. Notably, the grille will see minor alterations from the current model, and the vehicle will roll out on newly designed 6-spoke alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, the Magnite facelift is set to enhance the driving experience with several upgrades. A larger infotainment display, an updated instrument panel, and improved seat upholstery are expected to be part of the new package.
In terms of safety, the inclusion of six airbags would mark a significant enhancement, further bolstering the vehicle's appeal. These interior modifications are poised to elevate comfort and convenience for both the driver and passengers, making for a more enjoyable journey.
Under the hood, the Magnite is anticipated to continue with its current engine lineup, featuring a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder powertrain available in both naturally aspirated and turbocharged variants. The naturally aspirated engine delivers around 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque, whereas the turbocharged option pushes out 99 bhp and 160 Nm of torque.
For transmission, a five-speed manual will come as standard, paired with an AMT for the naturally aspirated version, and a CVT for those opting for the turbocharged engine. This setup is expected to provide a balanced combination of performance and efficiency.

Since its debut in December 2020, the Nissan Magnite has significantly impacted the Indian subcompact SUV market. By February 2024, it had already surpassed the sales milestone of 1 lakh units, highlighting its success and the strong demand among consumers. The Magnite has played a crucial role in maintaining Nissan's presence in India, especially in anticipation of the X-Trail SUV's launch.
