Nissan Magnite Facelift SUV To Be Revealed On October 4: Here's What You Should Expect
Nissan is set to reveal the Magnite facelift SUV on October 4th. Official announcements have already been made, and public anticipation is high. What sets this car apart from other SUVs? What new features will be included in the facelift? Let's explore the details.
Nissan has been marketing the Magnite SUV in India. Although it isn't the top seller in its category, it consistently achieves good monthly sales. The primary reason for this is its affordable price.

The Magnite's unique design is a major draw for many buyers. Its distinctive look sets it apart from other SUVs. Nissan plans to release a facelifted version with several updates.
Significant changes are anticipated with this facelift. The car is currently undergoing tests on Indian roads, and spy photos are circulating on social media. However, major design alterations are not expected.
The alloy wheel design is likely to be updated. Despite its low price, the Magnite offers numerous features, surpassing those of competitor brands. It includes a PM 2.5 air filter.
Features such as rear AC vents, a 7-inch TFT instrument display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, JBL speakers, and ambient lighting are available. The infotainment system is expected to receive significant updates, including a new user interface.

Interior Upgrades
The current model has an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which may be changed. The instrument cluster will also be updated. Additionally, the car is expected to feature a single-pane sunroof and ventilated seats, which are already available in competing models.
A standout feature of the Nissan Magnite is its excellent crash test rating. The base variant with two airbags received a 4-star rating in the Global NCAP test in 2022.
Safety Features
The car's safety features include Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Dynamic Control, Around View Monitor, Traction Control, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.

Engine Options
The same engine options from the current model are expected to continue. This includes a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that delivers 72 PS power and 96 Nm torque.
A 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine option is also available, providing 100 PS power and 160 Nm torque. These engines may see slight improvements in performance and heat management in this update.
All engines will be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. The turbo engine might also have a CVT gearbox option.
DriveSpark Thinks
Nissan's updates to the Magnite have pleased fans and could boost sales. However, the updated model is likely to cost 5 to 10 per cent more than current versions.
