Nissan Magnite Facelift Launch In 2025: Cosmetic Upgrades, New Features & More
Nissan has been conducting road tests for the Magnite facelift in India, revealing key updates. Amid a period of limited new releases, the Magnite remains Nissan India's sole offering.
However, the brand plans to introduce new products starting in the second half of 2025. Until then, the Magnite's facelift, set to launch by early 2025, plays a vital role in sustaining Nissan's market presence.

The upcoming facelift will feature cosmetic enhancements, including updated bumpers, headlamps, a new grille assembly, and modern LED signatures. Additionally, it will sport a fresh set of alloy wheels. Interior changes are expected to be minimal, with new trim options and potentially more features, while the overall dashboard design will stay largely the same.
Significantly, the facelift will mark the introduction of left-hand drive (LHD) versions produced in India for export, potentially increasing Nissan's annual output by 25,000-30,000 units. This move complements the existing export of right-hand drive (RHD) versions from the Oragadam plant.

From a mechanical standpoint, the Magnite facelift will retain its current engine lineup. This includes the 1.0-litre petrol engines, with the standard variant delivering 71bhp and 96Nm, and the turbocharged version offering 98.5bhp and 160Nm. Both the 5-speed manual and AMT gearboxes will remain unchanged.
Nissan has yet to announce a specific launch date for the Magnite facelift, but it is anticipated to hit the market early next year, coinciding with the model's fourth anniversary. Presently, the Magnite is amongst the most competitively priced SUVs in India, starting at Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Magnite facelift aims to maintain this affordability, continuing to compete with rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and smaller SUVs such as the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Tata Punch, and Hyundai Exter.
