Nissan Magnite Facelift: Launch, Upgrade Details & More
Nissan is set to unveil the prices for the Magnite facelift on the first week of October. The updated model will feature minor cosmetic changes but no mechanical alterations. Manufactured in India, the Magnite is produced for both domestic and export markets.
Cosmetic Updates Only
The facelifted Magnite will showcase a redesigned front bumper and grille. While the headlamp shape remains unchanged, the LED daytime running lamps will have a new signature. Additionally, new alloy wheels are expected to be part of the update.

Interior changes will be minimal, with updates limited to new trim pieces and a few added features. The overall dashboard design will stay largely the same as the current model.
Export Plans
Nissan plans to start producing left-hand drive (LHD) versions of the Magnite in India for export purposes. Currently, right-hand drive (RHD) versions are already being exported from Nissan's Oragadam plant.
No Mechanical Changes
The existing 1.0-litre petrol engine options will remain unchanged. The naturally aspirated engine delivers 72hp and 96Nm, while the turbocharged version produces 100hp and 160Nm. Both the 5-speed manual and AMT gearboxes will continue as they are.
DriveSpark Thinks
The Nissan Magnite facelift will maintain its position as one of India's most affordable compact SUVs. It competes with models like the Renault Kiger, Maruti Fronx, Tata Punch at the lower end, and Hyundai Venue and Tata Nexon at the higher end of its price range.
The refreshed Magnite aims to attract buyers with its updated looks while retaining its mechanical reliability. This strategy allows Nissan to offer a fresh appeal without altering the proven performance aspects of the vehicle.
