Nissan Energy Charge Network Enhances EV Charging Experience For Ariya Drivers
Nissan and Electrify America have teamed up to launch the Nissan Energy Charge Network. This collaboration allows drivers of the Nissan Ariya and future electric vehicles (EVs) to locate charging stations, check charger availability, and pay for charging through the MyNISSAN app. The app provides access to over 90,000 public fast chargers across the United States.
Owning a Nissan EV is now more convenient with this new network. The MyNISSAN app integrates vehicle management and public charging into one platform. Users can store a default payment method in the app, making it easy to start a charging session by tapping an on-screen button at compatible stations.

The Nissan Energy Charge Network includes partnerships with Electrify America, Shell Recharge, ChargePoint, and EVGo networks. Plans are in place to add more networks in the future. However, this feature is not available for Nissan LEAF owners, who can still find charging locations using the NissanConnect EV and Services app.
This initiative is part of Nissan's efforts to enhance customer experience and simplify EV ownership. The company also offers the EV Carefree+ customer care initiative for its LEAF and Ariya models. Later this year, Ariya drivers will receive a North American Charging Standard (NACS) adapter, enabling them to charge at Tesla Supercharger locations.
By 2025, Nissan plans to introduce EVs with a NACS port for the U.S. and Canadian markets. This move aligns with their goal of promoting sustainable mobility through their Arc mid-term business plan. The plan aims to launch 16 new electrified models globally by fiscal year 2026.
The Ariya stands as Nissan's most advanced EV model, offering up to 304 miles of EPA-estimated range in its Venture+ trim. It features e-4ORCE dual-motor all-wheel drive for enhanced control. For 2024, its starting price was adjusted to $39,590 to attract more buyers.
Award-Winning Features of the Ariya
The Ariya received recognition from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety as a 2024 TOP SAFETY PICK for vehicles with a 63-kWh battery. Additionally, its e-4ORCE system was named among "Wards 10 Best Engines & Propulsion Systems" for 2023.
Nissan continues its commitment to sustainable mobility by expanding its EV offerings and improving customer experiences through innovative solutions like the Nissan Energy Charge Network.
