Nissan Americas Announces Yuri Rodrigues As New Vice President Of Customer Satisfaction
Nissan Americas has announced the appointment of Yuri Rodrigues as vice president, Total Customer Satisfaction and Chief Customer Satisfaction Officer, Americas, starting August 1. In this capacity, he will manage product safety, product quality, and customer satisfaction across the Americas region.
Rodrigues has been with Nissan since 2011, initially serving as a director responsible for product quality and customer satisfaction in Brazil. He later expanded his role to cover Latin America before becoming the global chief quality engineer for INFINITI in Japan.
Rodrigues replaces James Moss, who has been promoted to corporate vice president, Total Customer Satisfaction at Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., based in Yokohama, Japan. Jérémie Papin, chairperson of Nissan Americas, praised Moss's contributions: "James has played an instrumental role in leading strong improvements in product quality in spite of challenges caused by the pandemic and supply chain disruptions since taking on his role in 2020."
Papin also highlighted Moss's impact on internal culture transformation: "Even more importantly, he's been a champion for our internal culture transformation. We are grateful for his contributions during his time here."
Since October 2020, Rodrigues has served as region vice president, Total Customer Satisfaction and Chief Customer Satisfaction Officer for Nissan Africa, Middle East, India, Europe and Oceania (AMIEO). His extensive experience with Nissan includes various roles that have prepared him for this new challenge.
Papin expressed confidence in Rodrigues's ability to lead: "We are fortunate to bring Yuri back to the Americas to lead our quality and customer satisfaction efforts. With more than a dozen years of Nissan experience on top of previous assignments with other global automakers, he's the right person to help build on the significant gains that we've made during the past four years."
Rodrigues will be based at Nissan Americas headquarters in Franklin. His leadership is expected to continue driving improvements in product quality and customer satisfaction within the region.
The transition marks a significant step for both Moss and Rodrigues as they take on their new roles within Nissan's global operations. The company looks forward to continued progress under their guidance.
