Next-Gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire To Get More Features & Unique Styling – Check Out All The Details Here
The much-anticipated all-new Maruti Suzuki Dzire is set to hit the Indian market in the second half of 2024. The upcoming model promises a fresh wave of features and design, paving the way for a new era for the compact sedan.
This launch follows the debut of the all-new Swift, setting the stage for an updated Dzire that will boast evolutionary styling, a completely revamped interior with segment-first features, and a new heart with the Z Series engine.

The upcoming Dzire is designed with the Indian market in mind, fitting perfectly into the sub-4m category to leverage small car tax benefits. Expect the Dzire to stand out from the Swift, with unique styling cues.
Sources indicate that the India-spec Swift will sport a slightly different design from its global counterpart, and the Dzire will further distinguish itself. Anticipate a new rear end, exclusive bumpers, alloy wheels, and potentially different headlamp designs.
Features-wise, the upcoming Dzire will inherit Swift's dashboard, which shares similarities with the Baleno and Fronx. To set it apart from the Swift, Maruti plans to include additional features like a segment-first single-pane sunroof and possibly a 360-degree camera, offering a more equipped package than the Swift hatchback.
Powering the new Dzire will be the Z Series 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, a shift from the current K Series engine. This engine will be tweaked specifically for the Indian market, focusing on emissions, efficiency, and performance.
Transmission options are expected to include a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox, both tailored for Indian driving conditions. Additionally, a factory-fitted CNG kit is anticipated to join the lineup later, adding to the vehicle's versatility.
With Swift's launch on the horizon, the Dzire's debut is expected to follow 3-6 months later, likely around the festive season. The sedan will continue to compete with the likes of the Hyundai Aura and Tata Tigor.
